Descent honest food. Coffee was great, too. The younger folks working there might need some coaching on customer service (e.g not to throw things in front of a customer).
I will give the benefit of the doubt that this was an off day, good food but slow and kind of vague. Fun décor and sweet little family cafe atmosphere/crossed with a playfully cluttered fantasy cafe. There were just 5 people seated but our coffee took about 15 mins and food about 30 or more. And people who arrived well after us were served first.. it happens. No soap in the toilet - so I told them. Is the boss absent on Sundays? Is everyone new? What's going on? I liked the place though. Good food. Great for watching cyclists take the pain up the hill and fly down on a Sunday.
Dropped by to get a take away coffee here and was disappointed with the service at front counter.
The staff member was more interested in telling the customer ahead of me about her travel plans and unconcerned about people who were waiting to be served.
Not even an acknowledgement that she would be with us in a minute.
The coffee was average as well.
The shop owner was grumpy and maybe due to my skin colour, didn’t feel welcomed at all. Asked for a Cappuccino and the below photo is what I got. Breakfast was also below average.
Cute concept of the cafe and the coffee looked good, but don’t go here if you’re hungry as you’ll be hard pressed to be fed. Very little food available, so I had to grab a bacon and egg roll. They didn’t have lettuce to put on it, it arrived swimming in tomato sauce and cost me $14-!! Waaayyy OTT price wise for such basic food
Awful outfit in Sydney's Beaches that masquerades with the vibes of a classic milkbar style yet is willing to charge prices of higher quality and nicer venues. 10 dollars for a simple milkshake served in the container they blended it in for one. Not professional in their timing of service - seem unable to have coffees all ready at the same time and drip them out over 5 min increments. You would do better to support a more deserving establishment.
What a wonderful spot! Great coffee, super food and great service, love it! Brilliant atmosphere, You can even book it privately in the evening for a function, if you ask Vince.
Eclectic little cafe. Very much a locals spot. People know each other, the baristas and owners. It is a nice spot off the main Corso to just stop in and sit for a spell with friends or get a little work done.
The coffee is strong, good size and fair on price. Breakfast took a while to come out for just being avo and eggs on toast and was pretty standard for the simplicity of the ingredients.
We stop in from time to time and enjoy the daily dad jokes and neighborhood book exchange. We would probably come more often if the food was quicker on arrival and the breakfast menu was updated.
Think owner has changed or something but food and drink is not the same as the photos that are posted. Food was ok but the mango smoothie doesn't taste anything like mango and is super sweet. I voice my concern to them and they brought out the same thing and didn't even offer to replace with something else when I told them I can't stomach it. Poor response to this situation.
...Great casual & eclectic place for coffee & a meal ( an old post office that is now a cafe ) with lots of interesting old time nic nacs displayed around the walls.
( Photo of Granola , banana & yogurt & cappuccino)
What a lovely and friendly café, away from the crowds of Central Manly. Just a few metres up Darley road, and arguably the cutest decor in Manly. The crew are very friendly. It’s very clean and comfortable.
Looks like I need to come back to try one of their cocktails tonight.
That’s the owner (with the beard) in the photo with me.
A happy place. 🤩🥐☕️🍸
Cute kitch cafe a little off the beaten track. Which prob explains why it wasn’t so busy. We went to this place for a coffee and in that department it didn’t disappoint. One of the best that we had in Manly.
Just a little note for the cafe - we couldn’t tell if you served food or not? No menus in sight and nothing mentioning food on any of your boards? If there was a menu on the window (did we somehow miss it as there is a lot to look at??) or near the door/bar, we would’ve picked it up to see what you served and then perhaps come back for brunch some other time. Cute place tho! Would def come back next time we visit.
Manly’s cutest café, complete with fairy garden and unashamedly kitschy paraphernalia. Love it. Walk up the hill from the main drag to find this lovely spot off the beaten track. Great coffee, crafted with love, and all your favourite cakes and drinks. This should almost be on the tourist must-visit spots of Manly.
These guys deserve 10 stars. 5 star for the daytime cafe and 5 star for the pizza night. The atmosphere is great. The staff really make the place and go above and beyond to make you feel welcomed (especially the bearded warrior).
