ibis Perth

Just done a week at the Ibis and it was perfect for what we need. A room with a shower and bed. Free WiFi, not the quickest but it's free and allows you to stay connected. Location is perfect. Easy walk to the shops, Elizabeth quay and the train station. Great Belgian beer house across the road. Only downside was the beds, they were comfy but for some reason they are on wheels. Would have better if they weren't. Breakfast was good, mix of an English style and continental. Great coffee. Great juice.

We needed to sleep in the city within walking distance of RAC arena and a local business.The room is small and could do with a deep clean, but was conveniently located and staff were very helpful. Parking is behind and with validation by front desk only $20 overnight.

I ordered a pasta and the staff gave me a pizza, when I told her about it she told me that I must of made a mistake and ordered a pizza. She said to me the pizzas delicious anyway BUT THATS NOT WHAT I ORDERED! I was waiting a while for my food to even arrive so I ate two slices of the pizza but I wasn't happy with the food and that's not what I ordered so I called them and told them that they've made a mistake and given me a pizza instead of what I ordered. After about 15 minutes staff come to my room with my food and she asked me if I've had any of the pizza. I told her I had two slices and she said to me I'm gonna have to charge you for the pizza then too. Unprofessional staff I wouldn't stay here again and don't recommend this hotel to anyone. Oh and when I turn on the air-conditioning the room starts rattling and there's also I tissue in the vent.

Very tired and outdated hotel. Girl on the front desk was very ‘indifferent’ did not even give a welcome or a nice hello. I even had to make a point of asking about parking the car. Needs some training I feel. Or a little pride in her work

Good location but customer service can be improved. Breakfast selection is limited and not varied. Suffice creature comfort for a short stay. Murray Street has way too pubs and can be rowdy with many intoxicated patrons. Stay safe.

This hotel does not meet the usual Ibis standards. The rooms and building are in desperate need of renovation. The appliances, like the air conditioning, don't work properly, and the room aircons lack a heater function. The in-room WIFI is non-existent, forcing paying guests to rely on the free but painfully slow common-area WIFI. However, these issues pale in comparison to the hygiene problems. The bed and blanket were filthy, and I could distinctly smell sweat. I've attached a picture to show how dirty my room windows were. Never again in this hotel!

Disappointing. Positives: Great location and friendly staff. Affordable Negatives: Room was absolutely disgusting. Mould and hair all over bathroom. Light with a lot of dust (fire hazard). Itchy and couldn't stop sneezing. View of car park. Cups and cutlery not clean. You could hear nearby rooms flushing toilets, running showers, etc.

Pleasant stay with a clean & comfortable room. The hotel location is excellent, nearby to Perth Underground & Station. Plenty of food & beverage places around.

This spot is a dream! Sparkling clean, incredibly cozy, and smack dab in the center of the city. With shops, cafes, restaurants, and bars all within walking distance, it's the perfect location for exploring. Couldn't have asked for a better place to stay!

This hotel is undoubtedly situated in a fantastic location, right in the heart of Perth with the ability to walk pretty much anywhere and the staff are friendly and helpful. The room was fine, if a little small and the beds were comfy enough. The room systems however, feel like they were designed in the 1950s, by someone who didn't like people very much. The shower design is bizarre and when I could get the shower hot, it rarely stayed hot before needing to be tweaked again. The aircon system was also not particularly effective and had been switched into winter mode despite it being unseasonably warm which caused the rooms to heat further. This was corrected the next day but made for an uncomfortably hot first night.
